Notion Sites is excellent for public marketing pages and docs on a notion.site (or custom) domain. It is not a private, multi-client portal.
Notion Sites lets you publish Notion pages as websites. On paid plans you get themes, SEO controls, analytics hooks, and a custom-domain add-on. That is a strong path for public docs, landing pages, and content sites edited in Notion.
What Notion Sites does not do — and Notion’s own help docs confirm — is password-protect a published site or give each client a private, filtered slice of a shared database. Published Sites are public to anyone with the URL. Private sharing still requires inviting people into Notion as guests or members, which hits guest limits and exposes workspace navigation risks.
